updates

hello!! met with eric and mike yest. the meetin was great. photos to be uploaded soon.

anyway this post is meant for my tots. somehow i cant help but wonder why am i the one who always get 'played out'. i really wonder. whether its intentional or unintentional (who on the earth will admit its intentional, if one does, he really deserves a slap), over the past few years and i mean years, i always the one getting played out.

oh well. some might say its just luck and to a certain extend, probably i have to agree it has to do with luck though. and not as though im a hunk or sth.

just gotta remind myself to stay positive these days. esp when i saw him updating his status today, cant help but to feel helpless.

nonetheless, just my favourite song, 'i will survive!'

on a side note: while im typing this, this Nox kept disturbing bro's guinea pig. i really hope nth tragic happens. btw, bro's hammies gave birth to a 2nd batch of babies yesterday again. dot. can i repeat myself again, 'i do not like rodents!!'

rats and rodents

i seriously dun understand. when there are already 4 hamsters at home, little bro still have to buy a guinea pig back. dun he understand tt im tryin to change the outlook of the hse? and now he is tryin hard to change the outlook of my house to a zoo with all his hamsters' stuff placed in a corner of the hall.

Nox is a terrier, for goodness sake, its a terrier!!!! placing a guinea pig in a mini playpen is like giving Nox a chewing toy to play with??

its not right to deprived him of owning a pet. but he has simply too much rats in the house which is making me uncomfortable. i even got a shocked when i was tryin to figure out what's in the paper box and a pair of eyes just stare straight into my eyes.

dun try me, i might just threatened him to give all of them away.

i sincerely apologized for the hurting words that I have used on you. Though you mentioned nothing abt it but i knew its hurting you as well because you are one who does not show your true inner emotions. I am Sorry.

Memo-Between lines

Memo
1 Bob Smith, my assistant programmer, can always be found
2 hard at work at his desk. He works independently, without
3 wasting company time talking to colleagues. Bob never
4 thinks twice about assisting fellow employees, and always
5 finishes given assignments on time. Often he takes extended
6 measures to complete his work, sometimes skipping coffee
7 breaks. Bob is a dedicated individual who has absolutely no
8 vanity in spite of his high accomplishments and profound
9 knowledge in his field. I firmly believe that Bob can be
10 classed as an asset employee, the type which cannot be
11 dispensed with. Consequently, I duly recommend that Bob be
12 promoted to executive management, and a proposal will be
13 executed as soon as possible.

Addendum: That idiot was standing over my shoulder while I wrote the report sent to you earlier today. Kindly re-read only the odd numbered lines.

Priorities

At this hectic time of year a very useful piece of advice to put it all into perspective.....

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar... and the coffee...

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an infamous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between sand. The students laughed.

Now, said the professor, as the laughter subsided, I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things. Your family, your children, your faith, your health, your friends and your favorite passions. Things, that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter. Your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else. The small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

Chemical Peel

I just had my chemical peel today. According to SW, this is probably more suitable and affordable for me as compared to my useless facials or laser treatment which costs me more than 1k.

Guessed the dosage was low, I'm feeling quite alright. In fact, nth much now.

But I thought the place was very nice. Gives me a luxury feel. See below and you will know why.

Yes, this is the clinic where which I did my chemical peel.

Goodbye

It was the first car i drove onto the road after I've got my license
It was the first car I met with an accident
It was a comfortable car which I enjoy driving
It was the first car which I paid for the repairing works
It was her last day with us on 26/02/07...

Though the FM radio is not working and the 10disc player doesnt support all mp3, its still quite cool looking at night.

Fish & Co.

alright.. seems like im flooding my blog with postings after postings today and i finally found the way to create a title for my entries!! yes, im like so slow can?

Anyway, went Fish & Co for dinner at parkway with Shao Wei and yesterday. Gosh it was freaking crowded in all the restaurants can. I have to agree with Shao W ei that Parkway is kinda a rich men's place with cars everywhere in the neighbourhood. Its one of the biggest neighbourhood shopping centre but i tot all these could also be found in Orchard which is more accessible. Anyway, just some photo to share.

Shao Wei, finally smiling to the camera.

alright, i look blur over here.

testing my camera phone in e car.

alright after dinner, we went to enjoy the sea breeze at ECP. Yes, mentioned earlier in my postings donkey yrs back, i do enjoy the beach and the sea in the evening when the sun is down. The walk in ECP was nice and cooling and the 'garden' or sth is finally opened at car park F, nice n big. I'm sure Nox wld definitely like that place.

New Phone!!

Bloggie... i finally bought myself a new phone on 13/02/07 after spendin donkey years with my nokia 6610 which i got in sec 4??

i mean of cos ive spent a huge sum of money on samsung e700a before but oh well, it has to break down after warranty and since then ive been stuck with 6610. ive stained my 6610 with paint while i was painting the doors (tt's another story) and since its rather old and my pocket is now not tt tight, decided to get k800i instead. yes, its not the latest phone but ever since my e799a which ive spent $870 on broke down on me, ive decided not to overspend in this kinda gadget anymore.

alright got it at $248 with a bluetooth headset thrown in. tot it was rather worthwhile for this phone at least. =)
